The “empty nesters” needed to modernize the basement and wanted to include a bar for entertaining. The all wood walls got a fresh coat of off-white paint which instantly brightened up the space. An electric fireplace was installed in the wall, along with an 80” flatscreen TV for a cozy entertainment experience. We designed a built-in bar with an integrated wine fridge and cabinet storage.

We added a bar table and stools, so guests could also watch TV and interact with those sitting on the couch. Wood shelves were installed with black brackets to display their liquor and wine glasses. We also added new track ceiling lights which were adjustable, as well as a recessed LED light over the bar area that could change colors via a remote
